Since 25 May 2026, citizens of 40 countries — including the UK, US, India, China, France, Germany, Spain, Italy and Australia — receive a free 30-day, double-entry tourist ETA; other nationalities pay a fee. Your passport must be valid at least six months beyond arrival. Apply only at the official portal, eta.gov.lk.Visa rules change often — information current as of 29 June 2026. Always reconfirm on eta.gov.lk before booking.
