Check the official Sri Lanka ETA portal before you travel. Its current notice requires an ETA before arrival and lists a free 30-day tourist ETA for 40 nationalities, with separate arrangements and application procedures for some travellers. Sri Lanka has two monsoons, so somewhere is always in season. December to March suits the west and south coasts and the Cultural Triangle; May to September suits the east and north coasts.

A focused trip works in 5 to 7 days; the classic full island loop is 8 to 10; 14 days lets you slow right down and add the east or the deep south.

Tell Sahan how many people are travelling and what luggage you will bring. He will confirm a suitable available vehicle and its price in writing before you book.

Your written quote states the schedule. Typically a deposit holds the dates and the balance is paid in Sri Lanka in cash or by transfer. No payment is taken through this website.

Tell Sahan as early as possible. The cancellation terms for your booking are stated in your written quote; date changes are usually possible when the new dates are free.

Peak months (December–March and July–August) fill early, so four to eight weeks ahead is sensible. Short notice is always worth asking; Sahan usually replies within a day.

Yes for most travellers. Roads are busy and hill routes are slow, which is exactly why a calm, experienced driver matters. Sahan keeps to realistic daily distances and avoids night driving where he can.
